Good day Roslyn Parents!
Do you want to have a direct, positive influence on your child’s school experience? Are you a dedicated parent but don’t have a lot of time to volunteer?
Roslyn Home and School Association (“Roslyn HandS”) – the Parents Organization at Roslyn – is looking for two representatives from each classroom to be HandS Ambassadors.
HandS Ambassadors would:
- Attend monthly HandS meetings during the school year (this can be alternated between the two HandS Ambassadors so that each Ambassador attends once every two months)
- Compile a contact list of the parents in your child’s class (preferably email AND phone)
- Communicate opinions or concerns (if any) to the HandS Executive at our monthly meetings
- Distribute any relevant info to classroom parents from monthly HandS meetings
The commitment is minimal (one hour per month) but the affect it will have for your child is immeasurable.
Our goal is to have 2 Ambassadors per classroom by our next meeting on Tuesday, January 12th at 7pm.
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP if you are interested in being your child’s Hands Ambassador or if you require any more information.
Our motto is “Many hands make for light work” and without the participation of parents like you, the work gets heavier and heavier. We hope to hear from you soon for our HandS Ambassador Project!
P.S. Please share this with any parents you know who might not be receiving these newsletter updates.
